This week is all about Davos I from A Clash of Kings, the very first Davos Seaworth chapter. Roll it!
It’s hard not to like Davos — he is, after all, one of the very few point of view characters not born into nobility, and he’s driven by things we can all relate to, like family. But in this chapter he kind of plays the role of watcher, giving us perspective on the mysterious Melisandre and the iron-willing Stannis Baratheon.
Also, hey, Azor Ahai comes up, that wellspring from which burst forth a thousand and one fan theories! But is the legend all it’s cracked up to be?
