Tonight, the Game of Thrones cast members will step out at the season 8 red carpet premiere in New York City. But before that, they’re all going on talk shows to discuss the final season…or rather avoid discussing the final season. Let’s watch!

First up, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) goes on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she discusses everything from the brain surgeries she had during the early years of Game of Thrones to her relationships to the dragons to whether she’s told anyone the ending. She has, but the secret sounds pretty safe:

Next up, Carice van Houten (Melisandre) talks for a half-hour on the BUILD Series. She takes a deep dive into her history with Melisandre, what it was like on set, and much more:

“I can totally relate to that sort of fandom-ship. Is that a word? Fandom-ship?” Why not?

I also liked her story about Kerry Ingram (Shireen) giving her a gift after filming the scene where Melisandre burns the Baratheon princess. “And I didn’t have anything for her and I just burned her and I just said, ‘Goodbye.'” And that story about her getting angry in an airport is pretty great.

One final note: is she satisfied with how Melisandre’s story ends? “I’m very satisfied.” Okay, moving on.

Sophie Turner (Sansa) and Maisie Williams (Arya) have been making the rounds together. First up, they talk to Extra TV and take requests in absentia from Game of Thrones superfan Kobe Bryant:

They also went on Good Morning America to talk about the ending of the show (“Some people will be satisfied and others, not so much”), their personal lives, and the nicknames Gwendoline Christie had for people on set.

Speaking of Christie (Brienne of Tarth), she also went on GMA, bringing along several truckfuls of good cheer:

She probably had the best tease for the final season. “Some things are put to rights, and some things truly are not.” Brrrr.

As mentioned, tonight the Game of Thrones cast and crew will hit the red carpet and watch the season 8 premiere. As you can tell, the city is happy to have them:

Several of the stars have already announced their presence. For Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane), this was his first-ever tweet:

You can’t have a Game of Thrones without Ned Stark:

Over on Instagram, d.was_here snapped pics with a lot of cast members both former and current:

A Song of Ice and Fire author George R.R. Martin is there, too, looking stylish in red and black:

It looks like a bunch of cast members — both ones featured elsewhere in this post and others like Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow) joined Martin for dinner last night:

Who else is looking forward to the premiere event?
