The leak came courtesy of Amazon Prime Germany. Fans who wanted the first episode, “Winterfell,” could keep watching and found to their surprise and delight that Episode 802 played.

Honestly, I’ve really never had a problem with spoilers and leaks before, but in this case, with it being the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, and knowing how hard the cast and crew worked to keep leaks from happening, it’s a little disheartening to know that for a second week in a row, the episode was leaked ahead of time by a carrier/distributor. This isn’t HBO’s fault, nor is it some internet-famous leaker giving details on a certain episode. It’s just a whoopsie.
