Four predictions for Game of Thrones Episode 803

The dead will rise from the Winterfell crypts

“The dead are already here.” Insert thinking face with eyeglass emoji here. During the preview trailer for Episode 803, Dany says this to Jon, and it has us wondering exactly what she means. Is she speaking generally, or are the White Walkers raising the dead in the Winterfell crypts?

Here’s what we’re thinking: the Night King is pretty damn powerful, so it’s not out of the realm of possibilities that he could raise the Winterfell dead from outside the castle; in “Hardhome,” he raised a small town, after all. If his range extends down to the crypts, everyone’s screwed. Based on the fact that it was mentioned a total of five times in “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” that the crypts are “safe,” we basically know they’ll be anything but.

Personally, all I’ll be waiting for is a headless zombie Ned Stark.
