The one-on-one fights we’re most looking forward to in Game of Thrones season 8

Game of Thrones has been a revolutionary television event ever since it debuted on HBO in 2011. It’s been lauded for its incredible story arcs, brilliant acting, clever jokes, and some wonderful mythology. And as the series went along, we the fans were treated so some of the most excellent action scenes outside of a movie theater.
The show is well known for bringing large-scale action on par with anything Hollywood can dish out. And on more than one occasion, we’ve been treated to some amazingly choreographed duels. Oberyn Martel vs Gregor Clegane, Brienne of Tarth vs the Hound…these fights have left us breathless, spent, and in the case of Oberyn, pretty grossed out.
We’re in the final run of Game of Thrones episodes, and fans are fully expecting some thrilling medieval violence. And while we are all excited to see the heroes of Westeros take on the army of the dead as a group, there are plenty of one-on-one duels we’re looking forward to, as well. Which are most piqued to watched?
