Disney dropped a trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home the other day, and while it’s good, the best part may be Tom Holland’s spoiler warning before it. Holland is notorious for giving away spoilers, so his disclaimer is rather hilarious and ironic.

Anyway, heed his warning: if you if you have indeed not seen Avengers: Endgame, don’t read or watch ahead! We won’t be able to snap the SPOILER back, so tread carefully.

Anyway, this trailer finally confirms that Spider-Man: Far From Home will take place after Endgame. Peter Parker is struggling without his mentor, but a class trip to Europe could help get his mind off things. But of course that doesn’t happen, because Nick Fury shows up and ropes him into some story involving Spider-Man villain Mysterio(Jake Gyllenhaal) from a parallel Earth. Parker tries to protest that he’s “just a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man,” but Fury is ready for him. “Bitch, please, you’ve been to space.” Wise words from a wise man.

Spider-Man: Far From Home looks to give us out first glimpse of where the MCU is headed post-Endgame. The Snap (not sure which one) tore a hole in the fabric of reality, opening up the multiverse. That opens up a whole world of story possibilities, as heroes meet alternate versions of themselves and who knows what else. Things could get crazy.

Circling back to spoilers, imagine of you were talking to a bunch of religious teenagers and gave away the ending to Avengers: Endgame. Caution: this is hilarious.

I love how the guy tries to defend himself afterwards. “It’s been a week! I just saved you guys, like, $12 on an overpriced movie.” You’ve lost the room, buddy. Time to pray.
