After each episode of Game of Thrones, HBO releases a glossy new batch of photos. This week, to help you sift through the smoking wreckage of King’s Landing, we’ve got 20 all-new photos to pore over. Let’s check them out.
Let’s begin our photogenic journey with Jon arriving at Dragonstone. Varys low-key lets him know he knows who he really is.
Dany is upset and tries to find consolation with Jon, but he’s kind of repulsed he banged his aunt.
Varys is brought up by the Unsullied for treason against Daenerys. He sent out a BUNCH of scrolls claiming Jon to be the true King of Westeros.
At least he took his death in stride.

This day did not go well for Euron and the Iron Fleet.
Jon, Grey Worm and Davos march through the breached front gate of King’s Landing.
Look at all the deposits of wildfire exploding as Drogon breathes fire and destruction through King’s Landing.
Tyrion is appropriately shocked. This is not how he wanted it to go down.
This is one of the most iconic photos I’ve ever seen from Game of Thrones.
CLEGANEBOOOOOWWWWWLLL!
The Hound’s first words were, “Your Grace.” I actually laughed out loud.
This is the tender moment we all wanted from Papa Hound to Arya, who desperately needed to be told at this exact moment to live.
And it took a lot for her to live…
…like, a lot.
Okay, you get the point: Arya’s a survivor.
Euron died. That’s all I’ve got. I literally hated him more than Ramsay Bolton. He was the worst.
This is the moment Dany hears the bells of King’s Landing sounding surrender…for whatever reason she simply snapped. Ooof, and boy did she snap.
Jaime Lannister kept fighting to get back to Cersei.
Grey Worm fought with a bloodlust we’ve not yet seen.
That’s it for this week folks. Tune in next week for the finale…okay, now I’m very super sad.
