Nicolas Hoult auditioned to play Jon Snow, and other celebrity stuff

Nicolas Hoult auditioned to play Jon Snow?!
Honestly, I can see it. Of all the people I’ve read or heard about auditioning for the part, Hoult might be the best fit, apart from Kit Harington, of course.
Hoult laid out the story to Page Six, blaming his hair on losing him the part. At the time, he was filming Clash of the Titans, which accounted for the unexpected styling. “They gave me a ponytail and also a very patchy fake tan. So I remember being like, ‘This is probably not what they’re hoping for’, and it obviously wasn’t.”
It’s all good, Hoult. You went on to do some pretty badass things, like playing the role of Lord of the Rings’ author J.R.R Tolkien in the biopic Tolkien, out in theaters now. And he played Beast in the X-Men movies and Nux in Mad Max: Fury Road…It’s safe to say he did alright, but what a different series it might have been if he had landed that Thrones gig.
While you process that, please enjoy this clip of Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran) being a very serious model:
In other news, fresh off her gig burning King’s Landing to the ground, Emilia Clarke has landed a role in the romance Let Me Count the Ways, per Variety. The movie will tell the story about the relationship between reclusive 19th century English poet Elizabeth Barrett (Clarke) and Robert Browning (some guy). “We are thrilled to be able to bring this most compelling of love stories to the world, and to be able to do so with such a talented team of people both in front and behind the camera is a privilege,” said producer Stephen Kelliher of Bankside Films.
Another serious model break, this time courtesy of Gwendoline Christie (Brienne):
Actually we don’t have anything else substantial to report, so just enjoy Sophie Turner doing some less serious modeling for Vogue:
