New trailers for Swamp Thing and Jessica Jones season 3

It’s almost June, and that means it’s time to

enjoy time outside

binge TV shows.

DC Universe — DC’s all-in-one streaming service — has had some success with its live-action superhero shows like Titans. Doom Patrol, about a group of unheroic misfits forced to work together for the greater good, is especially delightful.

And DC has another superhero show coming around the bend: Swamp Thing, based on the long-running comics about a humanoid plant-elemental creature living in the swamps of Louisiana. Check out the trailer:

“The swamp’s had enough, this is payback!” As a Louisianan, I can say confidently that this may be the most Louisiana thing I’ve ever read.

Andy Bean (Power) plays Alec Holland, who eventually becomes the Swamp Thing (Derek Mears). Swamp Thing debuts on DC Universe this Friday, May 31.

Moving on, Netflix may have lost the rights to all its Marvel-centric hero shows, but we still have one last season of Jessica Jones to look forward to. Cue the trailer:

Okay, so whatever has Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) that shook has got my attention. Jessica Jones season 3 — the final collaboration between Netflix and Marvel — premieres on June 14.

And finally, for no other reason than because things are better in threes, here’s a trailer for In Fabric, a movie about a killer dress:

In Fabric stars Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Without a Trace) as Sheila, the poor lady who was duped into buying the monster dress. I think we can all agree that this is the new must-see anything of any year ever.
