Game of Thrones VR experience coming to Viveport Infinity

facebooktwitterreddit

Game of Thrones may be over, but we still have plenty of ways to keep the series alive, including by literally stepping into the world of Westeros and battling some zombies through a new Game of Thrones VR experience.

This experience will be available exclusively through Viveport Infinity, a subscription service for VR games. It will support both Vive and Rift technology. Called Beyond The Wall, the experience will take fans north of the Wall to face off with fearsome creatures we know all too well.

Beyond the Wall made its debut at select AT&T stores to promote the final season of Game of Thrones — WiC editor Dan Selcke even took it for a spin at the Chicago location. Now, you can trek into the wilds of the far north from the comfort of your own home.

This VR experience was made possible through a collaboration between HBO and Framestore, an award-winning visual effects studio that’s worked in VR before.
