Stranger Things season 3 is “not for the faint of heart”
The younger members of the Stranger Things cast descended on Times Square this morning to appear on Good Morning America so they could hype the show’s upcoming third season, out on July 4…and hype it they did.
Speaking with host Michael Strahan, Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) described season 3 as “definitely gorier” than before. “It’s not for the faint of heart.”
Well, I’m certainly intrigued.
Meanwhile, Mike Wheeler (Mike Wheeler) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) will presumably continue their romance beyond the awkward kiss they shared in the season 2 finale. “[T]here’s nothing awkward about it,” Wolfhard said of playing the relationship. “Yeah, as actors you just have to prepare for it. The Duffers made a really comfortable set.”

Sadie Sink, who plays Max, talked a bit about sharing scenes with Brown, and what it was like breaking into the boys club of Stranger Things. “It’s definitely important,” Sink said of Max and Eleven’s friendship. “Because the first two seasons primarily focuses on the friendship within the boys, and so I think it’s important to have a strong female friendship on the show and especially with two strong characters like Eleven and Max.”
And nobody seems to like having to wear the ’80s-style summer fashions. Kids these days.
