As we pull further and further away from the Game of Thrones series finale, it seems like news on the prequel series based on the Age of Heroes and The Long Night has begun to pick up a bit. Just this week, we got confirmation that the show — filming under the working title Bloodmoonhad begun filming in Northern Ireland.

With that in mind, one of the show’s leads, Oscar-nominated actress Naomi Watts spoke with the Associated Press Entertainment and dropped a quick soundbite about her feelings going into a Game of Thrones-relates series and how she thinks fans will react. Check it out:

“It makes me very excited, yeah goosebumps all over,” she said. “It is intimidating. It’s very exciting. having just come off the last series, where the world was blowing up over it. Everything was Game of Thrones related. All the advertising on TV, every article — everyone’s jumping on that bandwagon. So, it is scary.”

Watts is right to be intimidated and scared to star in a show that is quite literally the “next Game of Thrones.” Regardless of how you personally felt about the final season of the show — as a whole, the series redefined television as we know it. That means fans are going to scrutinize every tiny aspect of the new show, just looking for a reason to complain about it.

Watts seems to understand the stakes and is confident fans will like Bloodmoon. “Hopefully, those fans come along and get to find something new and interesting in this world as well,” she said. “I think they won’t be let down, it’s a great team of people they’ve put together.”

As for who Watts is playing, we don’t yet know, but her character is reportedly a “charismatic socialite hiding a dark secret.”

The series will take place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones, and will chronicle “the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. And only one thing is for sure: From the horrifying secrets of Westeros’ history to the true origin of the white walkers, the mysteries of the East, to the Starks of legend… it’s not the story we think we know.”
