A Jopper romance
For two seasons, Stranger Things has toyed with our emotions when it comes to the romantic chemistry between Joyce Byers and Chief Jim Hopper, much of it driven by the actorly chemistry between David Harbour and Winona Ryder. After constantly dangling it right in front of us, we really need to see this romance happen in season 3.
The Jopper ship has become a fan favorite over the past two seasons, and given that these two characters were once together during their high school years, it just makes sense, doesn’t it? And it’s not just the fans that think this; Harbour himself said as much in an interview with Variety:
"From the very beginning, I thought that these are two tortured, messed up, beautiful people who are like puzzle pieces that can’t stand each other but actually need each other."
So long story short, Jopper needs to become reality in season 3. The fandom and the cast demand it.
