Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+, comes out later this year, and with it a live-action Star Wars called The Mandalorian the studio is banking will be too tempting a watch for you to pass up. Taking place between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, The Mandalorian stars Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal as the titular character, a lone gunman on the far reaches of the galaxy. We’ve already seen a couple of advance images from Disney. Now, Making Star Wars is giving us a look at some of the tee-shirt designs, because of course there are going to be tee-shirts; you can’t spell “Disney” with “merchandising.”
Anyway, check out the designs starting with the helmeted Pascal as the Mandalorian himself:
His glare is piercing…I assume.
Perhaps more interesting is this image of the droid IG-11:
IG-11 looks similar to a droid glimpsed in The Empire Strikes Back: IG-88, a rival bounter hunter to Boba Fett.
This character is not that character, but we can see IG-11 playing a similar role as a rival for Pascal’s unnamed leading man.

Disney+ will launch on November 12 at an initial price of $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year. As much as I don’t like the idea of signing up for more streaming services, that sounds fairly reasonable considering how much content the company has. The Mandalorian is expected to be available to watch right out of the gate.
