The Last Kingdom season 4 is halfway done filming!

Odin and Thor bless the cast of The Last Kingdom, who are happy to bring us along on the journey of filming the next crop of episodes of Netflix’s excellent medieval drama. Last go round, the cast talked about watching the first couple episodes of season 4. What new insights can they provide?

Let’s check in with the lot of them. First up, Arnas Fedaravicius (Sithric) gives us his best mean mug. Look upon fear itself!

He looks a little less fierce here:

Next, leading man Alexander Dreymon (Uhtred), never short on charisma, shows off his vocal range while serenading Aethelflaed (Millie Brady):

Adrian Bouchet (Steapa) is having a good time alongside Fedaravicius and Mark Rowley (Finan). Plus he reveals that season 4 is halfway through filming!

Fedaravicius is really living his best life in these shots, seen below with a gaggle of wet cast members, several of whom we can’t quite identify. We do spot Rowley in there once again, though.

Odin above, Fedaravicius shares a lot of pictures. Here, he shows off his horsemanship:

Incidentally, every horse I’ve ever rode has thrown me off. Thanks for bringing it up, Sithric.

Not to be left out of a trend, Fedaravicius also got in on the FaceApp craze, aging himself and Rowley at the gym:

And in my favorite image of the bunch, Fedaravicius and Dreymon make like their horses and get close.

Romances are blooming everywhere on this set.

Season 4 is officially halfway done with filming, arselings, which should put it on track for an early 2020 release date, if we had to guess. Destiny is all!
