Let’s walk point by point through the Game of Thrones panel at Comic-Con!

The second day of San Diego Comic-Con is over, and with it came the much-awaited Game of Thrones panel, featuring the likes of Maisie Williams (Arya), Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark), John Bradley (Sam Tarly), Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) and Conleth Hill (Varys.) Unfortunately, a few other people — including showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss — had to drop out before the event, but there were more than enough cast members here to make for an interesting discussion.

FanSided’s own Amy Kaplan was there live-tweeting the whole thing from the WiC Twitter account! Below are her observations, moment by moment:

Here we have the cast addressing some of the blowback to the final season. I’m sure it’s not as in depth as some fans want, but I wholeheartedly endorse Coster-Waldau’s prohibition on name-calling. There’s a way to discuss this stuff and still be civil; Con of Thrones proved it.

I think this refers to the idea that Jon distracted Viserion by yelling at him and giving Arya a moment to dart into the godswood where she killed the Night King. I think they can work in tandem.

That’s a quality one-liner, right there.

And the mystery of Grey Worm’s anatomy is solved.

If you want to see some fan questions, check out the videos from Con of Thrones this past weekend, where fans got to ask Coster-Waldau and other cast members all sorts of stuff.
