Comic-Con in pictures: The Game of Thrones cast takes a bow

A bevy of Game of Thrones stars turned up at San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend to bid goodbye to the show. You can watch the full panel here, but right now, let’s soak up the sight of the lot of them together, because it may well be the last time we see this many cast members in one place…at least until some documentary reevaluates the series years in the future. One step at a time here.

Before the event started, the lot of them held court at a kind of…semi-circular autograph-signing desk:

Most of the stars recorded a video message shortly before the panel began, contemplating the big questions like what it was like to be at SDCC and how excited they were to get up on stage:

When the panel itself got started, someone was a little cheeky and left coffee cups on stage:

At one point during the panel, Jacob Anderson put on a Spider-Man mask. He came to Comic-Con prepared.

It’s hard to believe this is the last Game of Thrones SDCC panel where the cast can comment on new content. It’s truly the end of an era.
