When Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon brought actor Naomi Watts on his show as a guest, you know he wanted to tickle, squeeze or crowbar some information out of her about HBO’s upcoming Game of Thrones prequel show, where she’s the biggest name in the cast so far.

But can he succeed? Skip to 2:44 to find out:

You can tell Fallon knows it’s hopeless when he cautiously broaches the subject of the prequel, but he takes a shot anyway. “Can we talk about the Game of Thrones prequel or not?” The audience cheers. “Or we’re not allowed to ask anything?” he adds.

The buoyant and ever-affable Watts responds with a smile and a shake of her head, saying “No,” and then bursts into a shout of “Tequila! Tequila! Tequila!” The Tonight Show Band, The Roots, immediately leap into a rendition of The Champs‘ famous song, and both Fallon and Watts launch into a brief boogie.

“That’s the way to get out of it,” Fallon says afterward.

The whole “Tequila” thing didn’t come out of nowhere — it was National Tequila Day, and the subject had come up earlier in the show.

Hype for the Game of Thrones prequel show, tentatively titled Blood Moon, amped up on Wednesday when HBO programming President Casey Bloy announced that production had been completed on the pilot. Speaking to The Wrap, Bloy also mentioned that HBO has one or two other Thrones spinoff scripts still floating around, although that’s not a guarantee that they’ll get made. “But we’re gonna see what happens with this one,” he said.

Just make this one really, really good.
