Welcome back to Take the Black Live, the show where we go over the latest news in the world of Game of Thrones, A Song of Ice and Fire, and beyond. And there’s a lot of beyond these days.
Today, the big ticket item is the recent rash of cons, from Con of Thrones in Nashville to San Diego Comic-Con. What were the big takeaways?
Here’s a quick rundown of the show:
- Dan was on so many panels at Con of Thrones! So many panels. That included one devoted to Cersei Lannister, one about how Game of Thrones changed television, and more. Enjoy him also getting a bottle cap shot off of his head with a foam arrow!
- Mia Johnson, whom you can find over at FanSided.com, also guested on the show to tell us about what it was like at the Game of Thrones panel at SDCC.
- We also all picked some of our favorite announcements and SDCC trailers.
