Jason Momoa reunites with Emilia Clarke at surprise 40th birthday bash

When you’re king of the Seven Seas AND Khal of our hearts, everything is bigger than life. So it was that Jason Momoa’s surprise 40th birthday bash included everything from custom Guinness on tap to a cake made entirely from whiskey (for which I badly need the recipe) to Game of Thrones costar Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen). Momoa’s birthday isn’t actually until August 1, but calendars were made for mere mortals.
Clarke’s appearance should come as a surprise to no one, as the pair long ago formed quite the adorable friendship. Clarke posted her own personal birthday wishes via Instagram:

We also love Momoa’s wife Lisa Bonet showing up via Facetime alongside the couples’ two children. We expect the family will be present on his actual birthday later this week.

At any rate, Momoa still remains number one on my list of celebs I’d like to party with, because whiskey cake. We’ll wait by the door for our invitation.
