Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime) is the face of an internet scam, and other news

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) has an important public service announcement to make, folks. If you see any sort of online ads asking you to buy Bitcoin or something in his name, be wary. IT’S NOT HIM.

“Hey guys, I hope you’re enjoying the summer,” Coster-Waldau says. “Apparently, there are a lot of ads on social media where I am encouraging people to invest in bitcoins and all kinds of stuff.”

"I have nothing to do with those ads, they’re all fake, as I’m sure most of you will already know if you’ve seen them. But in case you doubt it or for a second even thought about maybe clicking on those things or exploring it, don’t. It’s fake. It’s some sad people trying to make an easy buck."

He seems like an odd choice for a fake pitchman. Then again, I guess scammers want to trick people into thinking they can be as rich as a Lannister. In any case, be on guard.

In sadder news, Sophie Turner got a tattoo commemorating her dog who recently passed away.

How cute is the dog and its name? R.I.P. Waldo Picasso Jonas.

Moving on, over the weekend at the London Film & Comic-Con, Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy), Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), and Vladimir Furdik (the Night King) all showed up to talk about the tumultuous final season of Game of Thrones. They make quite the Mount Rushmore:

Isn’t it nice to see the Night King and Theon get along after everything that’s happened?

Next up, Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) is living her best life in a bouncy house:

I think the video says all it needs to say.

John Bradley West (Sam Tarly) is trying that app, and I have to say, old age doesn’t suit him too well:

Let’s take a moment to admire the beauty that is Maisie Williams. Anyone who went to San Diego Comic-Con was lucky enough to catch her glamorous look on the Game of Thrones panel discussion:

So what did we learn from this celeb round up? The Game of Thrones stars are Instagram-literate, and if Nikolaj Coster-Waldau offers to sell you crypto-currency, maybe don’t bite.
