More Game of Thrones Johnnie Walker whiskies are coming

Game of Thrones might be over, but as long as we keep it alive it our hearts, it’ll never really be done.

And if that’s too hard, there’s always merch. After a successful first run of special edition scotch whiskies, Johnnie Walker has another pair of Game of Thrones-themed spirits you can order now at ReserveBar.com, and available later this month wherever fine spirits are sold. Called A Song of Ice and A Song of Fire, both blended scotch whiskies “honor the enduring legacy” of Game of Thrones.

The “Ice” version comes from the Clynelish Distillery. The bottle is beautiful, bearing the Stark direwolf in shades of white and blue. “Ice” hits you with a crisp taste. Meanwhile, the “Fire” whiskey, from the Caol Ila distillery, bears a Targaryen dragon on the bottle and is infused with subtle smoke flavors.

From experience, I can say the blended whiskey that was part of the last release was one of the stronger entries. That one, inspired by the White Walkers themselves, boasted a bottle that would turn pale blue when cold. There’s no word on any special bottle features this time around, but each of them costs $43, plus shipping and handling. The suggested store price is $36.
