Sophie Turner and Jonathan Van Ness geek out for each other at the VMAs

The MTV Video Music Awards were held a couple days ago. Statutes were handed out, wild outfits were worn, but after careful consideration, we can definitively say that the best moment came when Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) met Gay of Thrones host and Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness backstage.

Watch the video below, but beware: it is bewilderingly adorable.

It’s hard to tell who’s more excited to see whom. Turner seems on the verge of tears when she sees Van Ness, who screams. “So happy for your ending, oh my god!” he enthuses as he clasps her hands.

So…this is among the cutest things I’ve seen in my life. Gay of Thrones, which for my money was ever the best of the many Game of Thrones recap shows out there, is over, but maybe Van Ness can revive it for a second for Turner. It worked for Lena Headey, after all:

She met Lizzo, too, by the way. Duet?

In other Game of Thrones cast member news, DC Universe has dropped the trailer for the second season of Titans, about young DC superheroes. Spot the former GoT star in a major role:

That would be Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) stepping out as Bruce Wayne at 1:05. Who would have thought Jorah would ever get to be Batman? I wonder if Daenerys would have been impressed then.

And I’m sure there are other stories, too. Titans season 2 drops on September 6.

Next. Game of Thrones executive producer “very pleased” with the ending. dark
