The final season of Mr. Robot has a premiere date and a creepy trailer

Mr. Robot is ending, folks. Sigh, what a tragedy. I’m not ready, at all. And while the rest of the world may have forgotten Rami Malek’s days as hacker Elliot and replaced it with him as Freddie Mercury, I have not. Luckily (and unluckily), the wait for the final season is just about over.

USA has revealed the premiere date for the fourth and final season, along with a one-minute sneak peek into what’s to come. It’s Christmastime in New York City, and our group of lovable maladjusts — real and imaginary — is at it again.

The trailer doesn’t tell us anything specific, although we get the idea that the final 13 episodes are going to be darker than ever. Why am I not surprised? We get glimpses of all the main characters, including Darlene and Angela. And there’s Whiterose, who remains as big of a mystery as ever. I’m hoping for some clarity there.

How will everyone’s story come to an end in the final season? Will Elliot come out the other end unscathed? Will he even be alive when it’s all is said and done? Well, I have no answer to these questions but luckily, you and I don’t have to wait too long to get them.

Don’t miss the final season premiere of Mr. Robot on USA on Sunday, October 6. I think it’s going to be the best season yet, plus I need more Rami Malek in my life.
