Game of Thrones gets the most nominations at People’s Choice Awards

Game of Thrones has already racked up a huge number of Emmy nominations, with a record-setting 32.
The other day, E! announced the nominations for this year’s People’s Choice Awards, where Game of Thrones is once again a big winner. At eight nominations, it has more than any other TV show, movie or musician. Take a look at the spread:

Damn, the people love Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner, don’t they? Interesting that cast members like Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau don’t make the list.

Also interesting is that Game of Thrones is nominated in several TV show categories, but not in “The Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show of 2019.” The people have spoken!
On the movie side, Avengers: Endgame was the big winner with seven nominations, including ones for actors Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson. Behind that were Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home, which picked up five nominations apiece.
