Welcome back to Take the Black Live, the show where we go over the latest and greatest news from the worlds of Game of ThronesA Song of Ice and Fire, Marvel, Star WarsEarthsea, The Lord of the Rings, and really just anything our nerdy hearts feel like exploring.

This week, we’re talking over the first interview given by Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss since the controversial conclusion of the show. Clearly, they’re easing back into things slowly. Should they be going faster?

Also, we hit a couple of casting announcements related to HBO’s upcoming Game of Thrones prequel show, Blood Moon. How are we still learning about new cast members a month after the pilot has finished shooting? Outside of Game of Thrones, we discuss how we feel about the new Batman (do you think “Robert Battinson” could catch on?) and I go on a tangent about how intrigued I am by WandaVision, a new Marvel show from Disney.

The Take the Black Podcast is on iTunes and Google Play! Please subscribe and download from there if you can. Also, you can help us out by giving us a five-star rating and leaving a friendly comment! We’re also now on Spreaker, so try us there, as well.

Admittedly, Take the Black Live didn’t quite live up to its name this week; due to a bunch of factors, we didn’t actually record live, but we’ll be back in the saddle this upcoming Wednesday, September 11. Watch us live on our Facebook page!
