Outlander season 5: Starz releases image of the adorable MacKenzie family

Outlander and STARZ have made the Monday blues disappear with an image of the growing MacKenzie family: Bree (Sophie Skelton), Roger (Richard Rankin) and their adorable baby Jeremiah. Take a look:
With this image, STARZ has basically confirmed my sentiments about the upcoming fifth season of the show regarding both Skelton and Rankin. We haven’t had the privilege of seeing their characters as a working family unit yet, but I think they’re going to make a strong stand in season 5, especially after everything Bree and Roger have been through. They broke up, they traveled through time, they found each other, they got torn apart, they got back together…it’s a love story that could only happen on Outlander. Oh, and Bree is pregnant with a baby that may or may not be Roger’s. Suffice to say, it’s been a long road, and these two characters are deserving of some happiness.
Based on this image, it looks like they’ll get it, at least for a little while. You never know what might happen on Outlander. With the American Revolution rapidly approaching, this peace and calm may not last.

But for now, we can enjoy the sight of this adorable family, as Roger plays the guitar and Bree does laundry. It’s an image I’m certain we’ll cling to when things inevitably go south in Outlander season 5.
