The Photography of Game of Thrones is an upcoming coffee table book from HBO and Insight Editions. Put together by Game of Thrones principal unit photographer Helen Sloan and author Michael Kogge, the book spotlights some of the stunning imagery from the eight seasons of HBO’s hit.
The book is out on November 5, and Watchers on the Wall has a trailer. Check it out below!
Beautiful stuff. And it looks like there will be plenty people haven’t seen, both shots of the show in action and shots from behind the scenes. How about the images of people touching up the melted Iron Throne, or spraying fake snow all over the Red Keep throne room? Anyway, you can preorder the book here.
The Photography of Game of Thrones is only one of several Game of Thrones coffee table books on the way. The Art of Game of Thrones, by Game of Thrones production designer Deborah Riley and author Jody Revenson, also comes out November 5. And we were lucky enough to get to preview the trailer for Game of Thrones: The Costumes, by costume designer Michele Clapton and author Gina McIntyre. That one comes out November 12.
Looks like it’s officially time to start making those Christmas wish lists, folks.
