Game of Thrones just won the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series! Rejoice! Celebrate! Run around with excitement! Whatever you have to do to make sure you take in this moment properly one last time.

This is the show’s fourth win in this category, meaning its tied for the record with Mad MenHill Street BluesL.A. Law and The West Wing. Bravo!

The cast and crew took to the stage with tearful excitement to accept the award, with creators and showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss sharing a few heartfelt parting words.

"Benioff: “This all started in the demented mind of George R.R. Martin…Thank you for taking a chance on two producers who had never done it before.Weiss: “We wanna thank all of our lovely and amazing cast. You guys make everything we write better. We love you and we loved every minute we have spent with all of you.”"

Weiss saved particular praise for the crew…sorry, crews, who worked on the show, with executive producer Bernadette Caulfield getting a big round of applause from everyone on stage. “The dragons, who shot for 70 nights straight in freezing Belfast rain. The wolves, who shot all around the world. You are amazing, all of you, and it is amazing that all of you are all still alive.”

And before they thanked their families, Benioff closed things out:

"These last 10 years have been the best years of our lives, and for everyone who worked with us on it, I can’t believe we finished it, I can’t believe we did it, we did it all together, and it’s over. We shall never see your like again."

Along with winning the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series, Peter Dinklage walked away with an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama — it’s his fourth win, too.
