Game of Thrones walked away with two Emmys last night: Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, which went to Peter Dinklage. It was the show’s final time at the Emmys, which was bittersweet to watch, but clearly the cast and crew were having a grand old time.

Naturally, the internet blew up with all the pictures and video from their night. I won’t lie: this one of Kit Harington and Sophie Turner hugging got me right in the feels.

By now, I’m sure you’ve heard all about the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel series starring Naomi Watts. Below, Lena Headey and Gwendoline Christie hand off the torch. May be carry it proudly!

There’s speculation that Watts may play a Lannister ancestor. At the Emmys, the original Lannisters hung out together:

Another emotional moment came partway through the ceremony when all 10 nominated Game of Thrones cast members walked out on stage to bid goodbye to the series, earning a standing ovation. Here’s the video, if you missed it:

Backstage, things were a bit less ceremonious:

And here’s the full squad after winning the Emmy for Best Drama series. Can we say goals?

It is hard to believe that the cast may never be together like this again.

So emotions were running high last night. Happily, the cast members could distract from all that by slaying on the red carpet:

The fabulous women of Game of Thrones take a moment!

And we can’t forget Ser Jorah, of course. Might we add that he is looking quite dapper!

Sigh, poor Team Targaryen. Maybe looking at the height different between Gwendoline Christie and Alfie Allen will make me feel better:

Let’s keep that role going with a picture from Christie’s Instagram featuring her red carpet look inserted into Leonardo da Vinci The Last Supper:

Carice van Houten shows off her duds in the elevator…

…and Emilia Clarke takes a breather:

All in all, it’s obvious that the Emmys were an amazing night full of celebrations, nostalgia, and a whole lot of fun. I’m happy to see they got to enjoy and celebrate together one final time.

Indeed it has.
