HBO is partnering with publisher Insight Editions for The Photography of Game of Thrones, a lush coffee table featured some of gorgeous images from the show as taken by longtime still photographer Helen Sloan and her team.
Insight and HBO were kind enough to give us a couple of exclusive sneak peaks between the pages of this beautiful book. Take a look at this spread about Sloan’s work on the Battle of the Bastards, one of the most visually sumptuous episodes of the series. Yikes, that one pic of Jon lying in a pile about to get trampled by his own men; it’s giving me second-hand claustrophobia.
If you want to learn more about the book, Sloan and production designer Deborah Riley will be attending this year’s New York Comic Con, and will sit on a panel called “Learn How Game of Thrones Was Brought to Life” on October 3.
