Whether taking a tour of their home or lambasting world leaders for failing to act on climate change, Game of Thrones stars are keeping busy, all in their own ways.

Starting on the lighter side of things, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) invited Architectural Digest to his new house in Los Angeles, which he finally bought for his family after years of living out of hotel rooms and in rented homes whenever he needed to be in LA. But at the end of the day, if you’re going to work in movies and TV, putting down roots in the City of Angels is probably a good idea. Take the guided tour below:

Obviously the best thing about this video is the fan-made Brienne of Tarth doll Coster-Waldau has in his house, but the house itself is pretty nice, too. And I love the pants.

Okay, now that the feel-good section of the post is over, let’s take a hard right into the apocalyptic, as Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) speaks at the United Nations about the havoc that pollution and climate change are wrecking on our oceans and the people who live on island nations:

“Island nations contribute the least to this disaster, but are made to suffer the weight of its consequences,” Momoa says. “The oceans are in a state of emergency. Entire marine ecosystems are vanishing with the warming of the seas, and as the waste of our world empties into our waters, we face the devastating crisis of plastic pollution. We are a disease that is infecting our planet. As a human species we need the earth to survive. But make no mistake – the earth doesn’t need us.” Grim.

Coster-Waldau does a lot of climate change activism too, lest you think he just prefers to lounge around his house and play with his Brienne doll, but you can’t be on all the time.
