Anton Lesser (Qyburn) coming to Con of Thrones 2020

Con of Thrones doesn’t happen until July of next year, but it’s never too early to start getting hyped. The biggest Game of Thrones and Song of Ice and Fire convention of its kind, the con has always been a blast, with fans bringing the enthusiasm and the panelists (including yours truly, on occasion) bringing the ABSOLUTE SEARING BRILLIANCE.

Ahem.

Anyway, tickets are on sale now at the Con of Thrones website. Organizers are already lining up guests, with the first being Anton Lesser, better known to fans as Qyburn the creepy half-maester.

No one completely devoted to Cersei Lannister can be a bad man, right?

I always enjoyed Lesser’s low-key performance on the show, so it’ll be a joy to hear his take come Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18. Autographs will run $30 and photographs $45. Expect other announcements between now and July. Previous guests have included the likes of Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Jerome Flynn (Bronn), Hannah Murray (Gilly), Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton), Miltos Yerolemou (Syrio Forel), Sibel Kekilli (Shae), Kerry Ingram (Shireen Baratheon), sound designer Paula Fairfield, and many more.

Con of Thrones 2020 will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida on July 17–19, 2020. It’ll definitely be the best air conditioned con yet.
