Exclusive images from The Photography of Game of Thrones

Tomorrow, HBO and Insight Editions release a pair of must-have Game of Thrones coffee table books on the world: The Photography of Game of Thrones — featuring images taken by the show’s lead photographer Helen Sloan and her team — and The Art of Game of Thrones — featuring concept art for sets imagined by production designer Deborah Riley. Everything about these books is, as you can probably guess, gorgeous.
We have some new, exclusive images from each of the books, starting with pics from The Photography of Game of Thrones. First up, a page dedicated to Arya’s adventures in Braavos in season 6, when she was facing down the Waif from the House of Black and White:
Another page shows us some behind-the-scenes images of cast and crew members mingling between takes. We’ve got someone touching up Sam Tarly, people attending to Brienne of Tarth, and my personal favorite, Joffrey Baratheon lounging in what I think is his own coffin in the Sept of Baelor:
Finally, a beautiful image of Jon Snow and Ygritte embracing in a snowstorm:
