Disney+, Disney’s highly anticipated new streaming service, is just a week away from officially launching! After months of anxiously waiting, the big day is nearly here, and the mountains of Disney content that comes with it.

Everything from classic old movies to brand new series will be a click away thanks to Disney+. The official Disney+ Twitter account is helping to bring the hype to a boil with lots of themed countdowns.

New worlds are waiting for us in just under a week…

You know what I’m particularly excited for? The live-action version of The Lady and the Tramp! That spaghetti date scene still gives me all the feels.

One of the most hotly anticipated original Disney+ shows is The Mandalorian, the first-ever live-action Star Wars series. If the novelty isn’t enough, the series itself looks absolutely amazing.

You know what has a nice ring to it once you say it a few times? High School Musical: The Musical The Series. I’ll admit that when I first heard the name I thought it sounded ridiculous, but it’s growing on me, particularly when you sing it to the beat of the original song from the movie, like I do: “Hiiigh Schooool Musicalll, the musiiical the series!”

Let’s not forget about Mr. Jeff Goldblum’s series, The World According to Jeff Goldblum!

And of course, we can’t forget that the most successful movie in the world is coming to the service:

Is it November 12 yet?

Among the many offerings on Disney+ will be all eight mainline Star Wars movies, which will be perfect for fans looking to catch up on the saga before The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters in December. However, according to Deadline, getting the streaming rights back from Starz came with a price. As part of the deal Disney struck, subscribers who sign up for Disney+ through the service’s website or the Android app will see a promotion for Starz’s streaming service.

Beyond that, Disney+ is ad-free, and if this is the price we have to pay for being able to stream all the Star Wars movies in one place, I think it’s worth it.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has officially begun shooting!. dark. Next
