The Night King (season 8)

The dead don’t concern themselves with the trends and traditions of Westeros, so it’s no surprise that the Night King can be seen wearing more or less the same outfit for the majority of the series. But even with no appreciation for the latest fashions, the Night King does make a statement with his attire — particularly when it comes to big moments like the Battle of Winterfell.

During this battle — and in most of his appearances — the Night King can be found sporting armor that looks pristine, even when he’s in the midst of fighting. During “The Long Night,” the leader of the dead only gets a few burn marks on him from Drogon’s attack, and even those don’t show that much. His armor represents how untouchable he’s supposed to be, and how well prepared he is for any confrontation.

And the Night King is truly prepared during the Battle of Winterfell, even bringing a spear and longsword with him, because apparently the dragon and undead army aren’t insurance enough. This villain leaves nothing to chance. It’s hard to beat someone who’s always several steps ahead of you, but thankfully Arya is badass enough to manage.
