Between Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home, 2019 marked the end of the third phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Phase 4 will begin in May of 2020 with the theatrical release of Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansson. From there on out, it’s a whole new ballgame, with movies being staggered with new, Marvel-focused shows on Disney+.

Just lately, Disney revealed release dates for five new untitled Marvel movies, according to The Hollywood Reporter. That’s on top of two other mysterious projects that already have release dates. Let’s take a look at the schedule as we know it, with the mystery projects slotted in:

  • Black Widow: May 1, 2020
  • Falcon & Winter Soldier on Disney+: Fall of 2020
  • The Eternals: November 6, 2020
  • Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: February 2021
  • WandaVision on Disney+: Spring of 2021
  • Loki on Disney+: Spring of 2021
  • Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness: May 7, 2021
  • Spider-Man sequel: July 16, 2021
  • What If…? animated series on Disney+: Summer of 2021
  • Hawkeye on Disney+: Fall of 2021
  • Thor: Love and Thunder: November 5, 2021
  • MYSTERY MOVIE: February 18, 2022
  • Black Panther sequel: May 6, 2022
  • MYSTERY MOVIE: July 29, 2022
  • MYSTERY MOVIE: October 7, 2022
  • MYSTERY MOVIE: February 17, 2023
  • MYSTERY MOVIE: May 5, 2023
  • MYSTERY MOVIE: July 28, 2023
  • MYSTERY MOVIE: November 3, 2023

So there are seven mystery dates reserved for Marvel movies. What titles will fill those slots? Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Ant-Man 3 seem like sure things, so let’s take two off the board. What else?

Let’s assume that Fantastic 4 and X-Men movies are in the offing, Marvel now having access to those characters since Disney bought Fox. Another Deadpool movie also seems likely under the same deal. Then we have the new Blade movie with Mahershala Ali.

That leaves one slot left. We predict it will be a solo movie about Hellcow, a hundreds-years-old vampire cow whose time in the spotlight is long overdue. We have spoken.

Next. Daisy Ridley: The Rise of Skywalker is “dark” and “scary”. dark
