It’s Friday, and you deserve a break after a long week of work. So sit back and enjoy this clip of noted actress Kate Beckinsale (SerendipityUnderworld) singing “Wannabe” from the Spice Girls with David Bradley, aka Walder Frey from Game of Thrones.

Nope, you haven’t fallen asleep and woken up in a parallel universe. This is happening.

As fun as it would be to just post that video and not provide any context, you should know that Bradley is actually Beckinsale’s godfather. Don’t you sing ’90s pop with your godfather?

Beckinsale’s caption is great, too. “Imagine how differently the red wedding would have gone if only they’d realized how much Walder Frey likes karaoke.” You missed the boat, Robb Stark!

In other Game of Thrones celebrity news, remember the heartrending moment when the Mountain chopped off Missandei’s head outside the walls of King’s Landing? Actors Nathalie Emmanuel and Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson do, and they’re over it:

My god, Björnsson is huge. Anyway, we support Game of Thrones actors who were awful to each other onscreen making nice in real life. These two are clearly following in the footsteps of Lena Headey (Cersei) and Hannah Waddingham (Septa Unella):

Back to Emmanuel for a second, she looked stunning in a Valentino dress attended designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli at the Cairo International Film Festival:

The friendly vibes continue as Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) congratulates Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) on her Critics’ Choice Award nomination:

“Huge congratulations to @gwendolineuniverse on her nomination for a critics choice award for her immaculate portrayal of Brienne. You deserve it. And to win it.” Hear, hear! The awards get handed out on January 12 on The CW.

Finally, Nell Tiger Free (Myrcella Baratheon) is in a creepy new show on Apple TV+: M. Night Shyamalan’s Servant.

See? Spooky.

Anyway, Free told Digital Spy about a memorable moment on set: “I threw up in a bucket on set while they were skinning the eels,” she said, describing what sounds like a disgusting scene. “That was probably my most memorable moment. Definitely not my favourite.”

Free plays Leanne Grayson, a nanny hired by parents whose 13-week-old infant, Jericho, dies suddenly. The only thing that helps the mother come out of her catatonic state is a “reborn doll.” It’s weird.

Servant has been renewed by Apple TV+ for a second season, so it looks like Nell Tiger Free is going to be busy for the foreseeable future.

Next. Game of Thrones picks up award noms from acting, art and costuming guilds. dark
