Take the Black Podcast: The rights and wrongs of Watchmen

Welcome to another fun and fantastic episode of Take the Black Podcast with House Razor, the reindeer who never let poor Take the Black Live with House Selcke join in any reindeer games. This week, Dan and I are joined by the two Coreys for a lively discussion about what worked and what didn’t in the Watchmen finale, and if the show warrants a season 2.

We also, of course, cover the latest episode of The Mandalorian, and why the first-ever live-action Star Wars series is such a massive success. Hint: He’s tiny, has big ears, is green, and has only recently discovered his affinity for force choking people.

Speaking of Star Wars, Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker is getting hammered by critics. Is Disney staring down the barrel of a box-office flop? No it’s not, but we’re definitely in for more debate on the internet.

As with every episode of the Take the Black Podcast, we believe that swearing is caring, so please watch for falling F-bombs. Also, we discuss the plots of both The Mandalorian and Watchmen, so if you’re not caught up on either show, please tread lightly and beware of SPOILERS.

Don’t forget: the Take the Black Podcast is on iTunes, and Google Play! Please subscribe and download from there if you can. Also, you can help us out by giving us a five-star rating and leaving a friendly comment! We’re also now on Spreaker, so try us there, as well.

Before you go, remember to check out Take the Black Live with House Selcke on the Winter is Coming Facebook page every Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. CST. Valar Morghulis, y’all.
