Miltos Yerolemou (Syrio Forel) coming to Con of Thrones 2020!
By Dan Selcke
Con of Thrones continues to build up its roster. We already know that Anton Lesser (Qyburn), Sam Coleman (Young Hodor) and Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) to this year’s of Con of Thrones, the world’s foremost celebration of all things Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire (and this year, I’m sure, House of the Dragon). Now, in news that isn’t very surprising but certainly welcome, Mischief Management has announced that Miltos Yerolemou, who played the Braavosi swordsman Syrio Forel way back in the show’s first season, will be in attendance as well.
The news isn’t surprising because Yerolemou has been to Con of Thrones before. In fact, he’s something of a regular presence at cons, where he teaches swordfighting classes, giving everyone in attendance the chance to make like Arya Stark and stick them with the pointy end.
More guests are expected to be announced as we get closer to the date of the con. Past attendees have included people like Joe Dempsie (Gendry), Jerome Flynn (Bronn), Hannah Murray (Gilly), Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton), Sibel Kekilli (Shae), Kate Dickie (Lysa Arryn), Kerry Ingram (Shireen Baratheon), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) and more.
This year’s Con of Thrones is going down on July 17–19, 2020 at the Orange County Convention Center in sunny Orlando, Florida. For more info, including tickets, visit the Con of Thrones website!
