It’s Take the Black o’block. Welcome to the only show on the internet that talks about things like Game of ThronesA Song of Ice and Fire, fantasy, sci-fi, and other nerd news you should know.

At least I assume it’s the only place. I haven’t checked around. I’m sure it is.

Anyway, this week, we take the opportunity to spend a little time with the Game of Thrones cast members at the SAG Awards, talking about whether they were done justice and about their outfits. After all, this may be the last time so many of them are in the same place; time to savor.

After that, we dive into the news that House of the Dragon, HBO’s Game of Thrones show, has a release date…basically. Is 2022 too long to wait? We give the definitive answer.

The rest of the show is given over to books, those little piles of paper bound together by twine or glue or something. Mia has opinions on the news about the new Hunger Games prequel novel, and I’m over the moon that someone is finally adapting Bernard Cornwell’s Warlord Chronicles…although I kind of wish it were a different someone.
