It’s Baby Yoda but with subtitles, and other funnies

Is there anything in this entire galaxy cuter than Baby Yoda, from The Mandalorian? The little green guy took the world by storm from his first appearance at the end of the series premiere, and the internet has been meme-ing up a storm ever since.

And it’s getting more creative. Supercuts Delight has added subtitles to most every Baby Yoda scene from the show, and you might be surprised to hear some of what the dude’s actually saying:

“Let’s get liit.” I can’t wait until Baby Yoda says his first word. Maybe later this year?

Not to be outdone, NerdOut conjured up a rap battle between Baby Yoda and Baby Groot. Begin!

“Ya bars lacked humor, about as funny as a tumor. Someone told me that you’re 50, heh, okay Boomer.” Up to the minute lyrics here, folks.

And finally, the talented @TianiPixel shows us what a Mandalorian video game would look like if it were made in the mid-’90s. It would look like Super Metroid:

Okay, what else is funny nerdom today? How about something in the Lord of the Rings aisle? Did you know that, back in the ’60s, the Beatles wanted to make a Lord of the Rings movie with Stanley Kubrick as the director? And now, thanks to deepfake technology, we can see what that might actually look like:

Starring John Lennon as Gollum, Paul McCartney as Frodo, Ringo Starr as Sam, and George Harrison as Gandalf. No way John would allow himself get saddled with the Gollum role. He would fight Paul for Frodo to the death.
