Limited edition Game of Thrones coffee table books coming, with new extras
One of the coolest things to come about after the end of Game of Thrones season 8 has been Insight Edition’s series coffee table books about the Art, Storyboards, Costumes, and Photography of Game of Thrones. Each of these tones were released in 2019, cowritten by a crew member from the series, and showed off the incredible craft that went into making this fantasy epic.
Now, Insight Editions is back with updated limited release editions of three of the books. They’re all coming this March, and they all have extras not found in the original editions, starting with The Art of Game of Thrones:
"Each of the limited edition Game of Thrones titles comes in a beautiful hard-shell case worthy of a bookcase. Within the case for The Art of Game of Thrones is a portfolio of eight beautiful art prints and two exclusive booklets highlighting the graphic design work and visual effects that brought the show to life. Each set is hand-signed by production designer, Deborah Riley."

Then there’s The Photography of Game of Thrones:
"The same beautiful hard-shell case. Within the case, you will find a 96-page photography booklet featuring portrait shots of each character, not featured in the trade edition. Along with the booklet, you will get a photography portfolio of 8 prints, signed by the Game of Thrones stills photographer, Helen Sloan."

Finally, here’s what’s new in the limited edition release of Game of Thrones: The Costumes:
"A booklet of never-before-seen sketches by costume designer Michele Clapton, exclusive art prints showcasing some of the show’s most beautiful costumes, and a swatch of fabric from real costumes from the show. Like all of the limited editions, this copy is hand-signed by Michele Clapton."

We don’t yet know the price of each limited edition book, but the regular copies from 2019 were $75 apiece.
