New Walking Dead posters tease the second half of season 10!
The second half of The Walking Dead season 10 debuts on February 23, and AMC has released several banner-posters to hype the happy occasion. When the show comes back, our surviving heroes will face perhaps their greatest threat yet in the form of a massive horde of walkers being shepherded by the Whisperers and their enigmatic leader, Alpha.
The key art features the words famously uttered by a CDC scientist in the season 1 finale, “We are the Walking Dead.” Let’s have a look.
First up, we have Michonne (Danai Gurira), katana in hand and ready to chop off some zombie heads:

Next, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) is armed with his specially-made curve-handled knives.

And where Daryl can be found, so too can Carol (Melissa McBride). I totally dig Carol’s brass knuckle-handled knife.

Carol and Daryl are among several members of the gang who we left pinned down in a cave by Alpha’s horde at the end of the mid-season finale. It’s a sticky situation, but that’s nothing new for them:
Finally, an image of the leader of the Whisperers, Alpha (British actress Samantha Morton), yelling in what I can only imagine in her best southern accent.

Alpha’s poster is definitely the most disturbing. Why is she crying why she’s screaming? Maybe her daughter Lydia (Cassady McClincy) gets turned into an all-you-can-eat walker buffet and she wasn’t invited.
Make sure to tune in to AMC on Sunday night, February 23 to see how it all shakes out.
