Outlander season 5 just might be the biggest and best yet. And you want to know why? Because Roger and Brianna are getting married! Yes, as the Droughtlander comes to an end, we have more than just the usual Outlander excitement to look forward to.

We’re in for a big wedding celebration, and thanks to Vogue Magazine’s Outlander season 5 exclusive, we have our first look! And it is so incredibly precious. I’m already tearing up. I mean, how beautiful do father and daughter look here?! I thought the first time they met was the biggest moment in their relationship. But, boy, was I wrong.

The best part about the wedding? It’s happening in the season 5 premiere! Talk about ending the Droughtlander with a bang.

Caitriona Balfe, who plays Claire Fraser, feels this moment is pivotal for Claire, especially after everything she and Brianna have gone through. Telling your daughter that her father is a Scottish man from the 18th century is easy to work through.

"She loves Roger and thinks she and Brianna are a great match. Jamie [on the other hand] is still on the Roger-fence. But it’s a really special moment [for Claire] to see Brianna happy—especially after what happened to her last season—to see her and Roger reconcile and be ready to start this new life together."

I’m sure, just like me, you’re taking a very close look at Brianna’s wedding dress. Sophie Skelton (Brianna) talked about the intricate details of the dress, and how they balanced the time period she’s from and the one where she currently lives:

"We make a point of showing that this is one of Jocasta’s dresses that has been reconfigured for the wedding. It’s a hand-me-down, which is quite sweet. We tried to get a little bit of the ’60s and ’70s vibe in there, too. It’s not your conventional wedding dress. There’s the fichu [collar], which we often wear when we have a corset on in the past. And then later for the dancing and party time, that comes off, and it feels a little bit more free."

I’m already feeling so emotional over this!

Outlander costume designer Trisha Biggar (who is new to the show this season) also dished on the details. It’s always exciting to hear from the masterminds themselves — they put in so much work and thought!

"It’s a cotton and silk gauze over a very fine silk taffeta. I used a variety of different photos for inspiration. [The bride also wears] the family pearls—they’ve come from Scotland and been passed down. Unfortunately, we don’t have a 1960s wedding [this season], but it is great to have the two periods to explore and to see characters in both times and try and give them a similar feel, albeit a very different look."

Did anyone else notice the “this season” part of her statement? Does this mean they’ll go back to the ’60s and throw a wedding party there too?! Interesting…very interesting.

And while they’re bringing together the 1700s/1960s, Outlander fans will be happy to know that Roger will be serenading Brianna with Nat King Cole’s “L-O-V-E.”

My imagination. It’s gone wild.

Richard Rankin (Roger) assures fans that we will get the romantic, mushy-gushy moments of Roger and Brianna’s wedding night. After all the turmoil they’ve been through, these two deserve it. And we’re so here for it!

"Obviously, Sophie and I have been playing the relationship for a while, and Brianna and Roger have gone on quite a journey through time and through a lot of trials they’ve been separated. They’ve had a lot of drama and conflict. So to see them have this day [and night] is really nice—them finally coming together properly in that union is something I think the audience will really enjoy. It’s also a platform for their relationship and a catalyst for us now because they’re very, very together."

Is it February 16 yet?
