Hey, there’s a new streaming service about to mix it up with the big boys like Netflix and Disney+, and its name is Quibi. The new platform will launch on April 6. It’s available exclusively via a smartphone app, and its shows consist of 10-minute episodes called “quick bites.”

Quibi’s launch lineup includes Survive, a new show starring Game of Thrones alum Sophie Turner. Check out the trailer:

Turner stars alongside Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton, The Walking Dead) in a thriller that sees the pair try to make it down a snow-covered mountain together after their plane crashes. Will they make it out alive? I don’t know, just watch the darn thing when it comes out in April. It’s not like it’ll take long.

While we’ve got you here, check out the poster for the show:

Surely the Queen in the North can survive some snow?

Want more trailers? How about the teaser for Spiral, the new Saw movie produced by and starring Chris Rock.

Wait, huh?

AND it has Samuel L. Jackson? Saw is determined to make a comeback.

Spiral hits theaters on May 15.

Finally, here’s some behind-the-scenes footage from James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad movie. Idris Elba is wearing a cape. Enjoy:

Keep a look out for John Cena in there, too. The Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters on August 6, 2021.

Next. Locke & Key is another terrific comic book adaptation for Netflix. dark
