Sophie Turner, known now and forever to Game of Thrones fans as Queen in the North Sansa Stark, is expecting her first child, with husband Joe Jonas. This was first reported by Just Jared, picked up by a bunch of other places, and then independently confirmed by US Weekly and E! News. At this point, there doesn’t seem much else to say beyond, “Congratulations!”

Turner and Jonas got married about a year ago at an impromptu ceremony in Vegas, by an Elvis impersonator. Clearly, the two know how to enjoy themselves:

The pair had a bigger wedding later, with friends and family in attendance, including Turner’s Game of Thrones costar Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) as her maid of honor!

Now, about nine months later, Turner and Jonas are expecting a child. We said it before but it bears repeating: congratulations!

I was kinda hesitant to write about this because Turner herself hasn’t confirmed it yet; reps for her and Jonas have declined to comment, and according to a source at JustJared, “[t]he couple is keeping things very hush hush but their friends and family are super excited for them.” But after it got all over the internet I figure there’s not much point to keeping silent. Congratulations a third time to the couple! We wish you all the best.
