Lena Headey joins Netflix’s Masters of the Universe show, and more stuff
By Dan Selcke
Game of Thrones had one of the best casts on television, now unleashed on Hollywood to do whatever comes naturally. Let’s see what they’re up to.
First off, Deadline reports that Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) has joined the cast of Netflix’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation, a revival of the ’80s fantasy franchise that will apparently pick up with the characters right where Mattel left them decades ago.
Headey will play Evil-Lyn, one of the villains, is the name didn’t give it away. The star-studded cast also includes Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Chris Wood (Supergirl, The Vampire Diaries) as Prince Adam/He-Man, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela, Stephen Root as Cringer, Henry Rollins as Tri-Klops, Alicia Silverstone as Queen Marlena, Justin Long as Roboto, Jason Mewes as Stinkor, Phil LaMarr as He-Ro, Kevin Conroy as Mer-Man, and many more.
Headey will even be reunited with one of her Game of Thrones costars, as Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) is playing Man-At-Arms. Unfortunately, if you haven’t picked it up already, this is an animated show, but what I wouldn’t give to see some of these actors in the crazy outfits from the franchise. Noted supernerd Kevin Smith will serve as showrunner and executive producer.
Speaking on Game of Thrones reunions, check out John Bradley (Sam Tarly) and Mark Addy (Robert Baratheon) on the set of the Sky Arts show Urban Myths, where Bradley will star for an episode as English comedian Les Dawson:
I’m not sure who Addy plays, but I know I want to watch this.
Also hard at work: Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei) with Kevin Hart, Josh Hartnett and John Travolta on the set their new Quibi show, Die Hart:
One more Instagram pic: Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) posted this picture of herself hanging out with James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain, just stars being stars:
You meet a lot of cool people when you take to the London stage, I guess.
Finally, Insider reports that travel company Discover Seven is putting together a series of trips where celebrities guide tourists around select parts of the world. They’re calling it their “Luminary Experiences.” You can tour Morocco with B.D. Wong, walk around Milan with Jeffrey Bowyer Chapman, or get an up-close look at Iceland with Game of Thrones star Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, the Mountain himself.

And it’ll only cost you…$13,200 per person?! Well, $12,700 if you split a room. Oh, well, that’s fine, then.
