It’s official, Grishaverse fans: Netflix’s Shadow and Bone series has wrapped filming! The main cast celebrated the milestone by sharing a video introducing themselves and their characters. There’s still no official date for when the adaptation of Leigh Bardugo’s YA novels will hit the streaming service, but those feeling antsy can get excited seeing how the actors match up with their characters — and honestly, things look promising so far.

In particular, the cast members portraying Six of Crows characters seem to be perfect fits. Calahan Skogman and Danielle Galligan filmed their portion of the video together, and the two basically are Matthias and Nina. Just look at the adorable way she steals the spotlight from him! Kit Young’s bit is also about as Jesper as it gets, given that the actor calls his character “overly handsome and incredibly charming.” Anyone worried about whether these stars would manage to capture the personalities in the series will feel much better about things after watching this promo.

The other stars included in the video are Jessie Mei Li (Alina), Freddie Carter (Kaz), Archie Renaux (Mal), Amita Suman (Inej), Sujaya Dasgupta (Zoya) and Ben Barnes. It’s worth noting that Barnes never actually mentions what character he’s playing. While he’s officially listed as General Kirigan, most fans have connected his character with the Darkling, the series’ main villain. It’s possible the show is trying to keep his true identity under wraps, but we’ll have to wait a bit longer to find out for sure.

The clip ends with the cast welcoming viewers to the Grishaverse before telling them to “stay tuned.” Now that production has come to an end, it’s likely we’ll be getting updates about when the series will debut — and maybe even a trailer — in the near future.
