We’re heading into the seventh episode of Star Trek: Picard, and CBS has released a cache of glossy new photos that show Jean-Luc hanging out on the planet of Nepenthe with his dear old friends, Will Riker (Jonathan Frakes) and Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis).
According to Trek News, the new episode is called “Nepenthe.” Here’s the synopsis:
"Picard and Soji transport to the planet Nepenthe, home to some old and trusted friends. As the rest of the La Sirena crew attempt to join them, Picard helps Soji make sense of her recently unlocked memories. Meanwhile, Hugh and Elnor are left on the Borg cube and must face an angered Narissa."
And how will Narek play into that drama, I wonder?
There’s also a proper preview video:
And now for the photos! Up above, we have Picard hugging it out with Riker and Troi. There’s a lot of catching up to do.

How might Riker and Troi react to Picard introducing them to Data’s daughter, Soji?

“Nepenthe” won’t take place entirely on the planet Nepenthe. Rios (Santiago Cabrera) and the crew of the La Sirena will try to save Hugh (Jonathan Del Arco) and Elnor (Evan Evagora) from the decommissioned Borg ship.

Whatever’s happening, it’s enough to pull Raffi (Michelle Hurd) out of her room, as well as draw Dr. Jurati’s (Alison Pill) attention.

I’m guessing they’ll have to pull off some kind of teleporter trick to save the friendlies on the Borg ship.
“Nepenthe” was directed by Douglas Aarniokoski. It’ll air on Thursday, only on CBS All Access.
